Story Explorers: Grades K – 3

Mission Imagination | July 11 – 15, 2022

Drama unfolds each day in this thrilling and fun-filled adventure! Embracing the elements of music, dance, drama, and design, students are sent out to explore fantasy worlds full of magic and surprise. Each day they have a mission to accomplish and stories to save! Join us for a joyful week of creation. This camp culminates in a final sharing of work for family and friends.

Global Tales | July 18 – 22, 2022

Drama unfolds each day in this thrilling and fun-filled adventure! Embracing the elements of music, dance, drama, and design, students are sent out to explore fantasy worlds full of magic and surprise. Each Every day arrive in a new country. Sail the seas, fly high, and land in new drama adventures! We embark on a journey through dance, music, drama and design in this unique and beautiful sharing of culture through story.

Play Builders: Grades 3 – 5

Modern Mythology | June 27 – July 1, 2022

Create an original play in just one week! Students write a script, rehearse and perform a character of their own imagining to share with family and friends. Taking inspiration from the Greeks, we find these characters in a modern setting for a fresh take on classic tales. Special design elements will be explored that support the theme!

Musical Theatre Suitcase | June 27 – July 1, 2022

Each class, unpack a different musical. Over the course of five sessions embrace the story, movement and music languages of these pieces. Learn the historical importance, explore choreography sequences, and examine the lyrics as monologue. This is a musical theatre sampler, culminating in a sharing of work for family and friends. We will be running camp on July 4th.

Theatre Makers: Grades 4 – 8

Play Production | July 11 – 22, 2022

Students enter the rehearsal process supported by an approach rooted in embracing rehearsal as the ultimate teaching tool. Developing the ensemble, and utilizing the professional process as a guide, students develop an ensemble, are cast, and originate a role in a new play written specifically for their cohort. Unique to this experience are opportunities for students to flex their design muscles. The final performance is Friday July 22 at 3:30pm.
